Biography

Already at an early age I started playing records, mainly at school parties and suchlike.
Around 1995 I looked for a new challenge, which turned out to be playing jungle and drum ‘n bass. I found this music quite cool.
Eventually I switched to the breakbeats because I love the beats and because the baseline with drum ‘n bass became more and more a central point.

Unfortunately the breakbeats got harder and harder and focussed more on the kick instead of the breakbeat. Finally I switched to hardcore. After about a year I had heard enough of hardcore and started playing house and club with influences of acid and trance. Eventually I turned to play more techno.
I was, and still am, inspired by the “Planet Rose” evenings held in Doornroosje in Nijmegen. This was the only club in the region that had this type of music played. Owing to these special evenings I qualified myself in Techno, which led to finding my own style of music. This is a mix of all styles, but mainly techno, techhouse, minimal and electrohouse, in addition to which I make an excursion to other styles as well.

In 2004 I won the Planet Rose dj contest in Doornroosje and in 2005 the TWSTd dj contest during a grand finale in Paradiso, a famous rock temple in Amsterdam.
During that time I, together with a few friends, started organizing parties, like “Feestje aan de Gracht” in Boxmeer. Moreover, together with some friends I developed a netlabel called Creative Motions. Here you will find some releases of me and my friends.

My next step is to produce my own music and hopefully not only me but also other dj’s will play it in order to make the public go out of their mind!
